ok so choosing a domain name for myself has turned out to be a lot less fun than I had anticipated.
I really don’t want to get sarahheppell.com for the reason that I wont be a heppell forever.
I thought of oksarah.com and heysarah.com both which apparently were open but when I tried at bluehost….. no dice.
then I thought maybesarah.com or sarahsomething.com but I DONT KNOW!
so. I’m kinda back to square one. and on the verge of just buying sarahheppell.com and running with that for a few years.
I had something shorter in mind though.
either way if it doesn’t say anything “designy” in my domain, I’ll have a sub domain to click on the main page which will bring you to
design.mydomainname.com and photo.mydomainname.com
ughhhhhh
any and all opinions are welcomed… please. hah.

Inspiration
So I have to come up with 8 things that I’m inspired by.
I’ve started my soul searching by looking up the definition. Thats where it all starts right? so I can amalgamate some ideas. (Yes, I used the word amalgamate. Hopefully it’s fitting of this situation)
So on to the Definition-

Then I ran the assignment by my boyfriend and he basically spewed some ideas out as soon as I told him what I had to do.

Art
Seeing as this is the subject in which I study in school, in a large category I will break it down to ***graphic design, ****photography, **fonts, **web design, *attempting to draw, paint and any other fine art.
*Rating of importance in this moment in time.
Travel
Everything on my list can somehow relate to this topic. Traveling is my number one inspiration. without it I’d have none of these other inspirations.
I travel every day, if I get out of bed in the morning (or early afternoon) I am traveling somewhere doesn’t matter the distance.
I could be traveling to school, to create art, I could be on vacation where I’d catch a sunset, I could be traveling to a diner because I’m hungry and love diners, I could be in a car going anywhere and see animals, talk to people, see a concert. (all of which I do quite often)
and after all of that is said and done I’d write about it and post pictures of it all.
Restaurants/Diners
My boy and I enjoy trying new places to eat on the weekends. Our favorite spots are Stellas and Zebbs.
I enjoy taking pictures of the new diners we go to as long as I have my camera on me. I someday want to create a book of the diners I’ve been to and my boyfriend and I can amalgamate our ratings and opinions of the diners. (Yes, I have used amalgamate again. It’s awesome learning a new word).
Journal/Blog.
Look at what I’m doing now! Writing in a blog. My thoughts, ideas, adventures all go down in my journal’s and blogs. It’s very important to me that I document my life somewhere for referencing at a later date. It helps me stay organized and allows others to see what I’ve been up to. I’ve been keeping an online journal since I was 14 or 15. I’ve got stories of my first boyfriend in it, for all eyes to see!
Sunsets/the Sky
I enjoy the sky. I enjoy when the sky is an amazing color like bright red or hot pink, yellow or different shades of blue. I enjoy the clouds, and the patterns they create on a daily basis, even every hour to each minute or second.
Animals.
I enjoy animals. I all every animal “animal” I like talking to animals. I was bad at it until I started being around my boyfriends two Siamese cats. I always thought it was funny that people talked to their pets. Now I find myself talking to Daisy or Lily when they aren’t even in the room. I want pets but all I have at home is a turtle and a fish. Even though it’s cool having a “dinosaur” (as I call him) as a pet, I can’t curl up with him or fall asleep with him laying on my belly.
I think cows are adorable! my favorite animal since I was very young, probably 4 or 5, is the penguin. I also enjoy flamingos, alpacas and lately cats. I think hello kitty is my favorite cat, besides Daisy, Tim’s cat.
People/Conversation
I enjoy meeting people. I find that when I’m out somewhere I like to get to know someone, just a little bit. It’s something about the experience and the fact that everyone has a different story to tell. I enjoy going to places alone in hopes of new conversations with strangers. I find myself to be overly friendly at times. I’m always being told to refrain from talking to certain people. Perhaps I’m naive about it to some extent. But overall I think it’s a great way to learn something new.
I’m not exactly sure how I’ll lay this out, thumbs and roughs will come soon after this is checked out by Devin.

I am not ready for the end of the semester.
I need to start editing for 309, make gun sounds and helicopter sounds.
I have to start printing my portfolio (on 11×17 card stock) for 414. and next week we have a mock interview. That should be interesting, seeing I don’t have an ideal job right now because I’ve been shifted back into student mode not thinking about job mode.
317, I have to put my info in for my 3 pages for hooked. It’s pretty tricky because we have to fix the template again due to our critique/presentation, so we’ll have to wait to get started.
I would enjoy a nap. even though I just woke up 2 hours ago.
I want a 32 inch pancake, too. (to share with everyone of course, I couldn’t finish that myself.)
I love his mustache, too. I’ll take that, too.
