As I try to savor our wedding cake for as long as possible, I thought of this idea. I’m a ring shot kinda girl. Meaning, I love taking bride and grooms rings during dinner or another lull, where we aren’t running around crazy and get a little creative with the couples rings.
My go-to shots are normally with the bride’s bouquet. It usually so colorful and textured that it makes for an easy backdrop for the stunning rings! So, as I had a bite of my cake and noticed it was starting to look a little sad, I decided I’d do a ring shot with it before it either was finished off or *cringe* thrown out. Just so you know, and because I want to tell you, the cake flavor was raspberry almond ricotta. yeah. amazing. My pal over at Zoeycakes made it for me. It’s the most dense and lovely two layer cutting cake ever. I’m a huge fan of dense cake.
