The Drake family and I met up at Franklin Square, which is one of my preferred locations to shoot! There are just so many neat nooks to find and to take pictures at, it gives my clients a lot of different options. Plus it can have a bit of an urban feel with a bit of nature simultaneously! Working with 4 kids was a fun task! I think we managed to get some great shots of them all looking at once! Crystal, the mom, did a great job of coordinating the family with their colors and outfits! I just loved how the boys boots matched daddy’s boots! Lastly, I’d like to congratulate them on their newest member of the family, Jett! What a cutie pie. Can’t wait to snap this family again!

Lifestyle: Amy, Nate & Eli!
Wednesday, November 16th, 2011Amy, Nate and their son Eli and I had a great time at Abbott Farms!
They drove up from Brooklyn for the weekend and made sure to meet up with me while they were home! It was so nice to see them again! I was the spark starter for those two. I introduced them years ago and I’m so happy to see where they are now! I was at their wedding a few summers ago and was so inspired by their wedding that I want to have my wedding at the same place! I got to meet and hang out with Eli which I had only seen photos of for weeks! I’m glad we met up! But I do wish they lived closer! I’ll take once in a while over never, any day, though!
Engagement: Alesha & Meshari Star in Attack of the Zombies!
Wednesday, October 26th, 2011A pal of mine from graphic design school contacted me for some very non-traditional engagement photos. Alesha & Meshari didn’t really want an engagement session, but more of.. well.. a zombie attack during their “engagement session” It was wild! We had the perfect overcast day that wasn’t terribly chilly. I met up with them at their place as their friends and volunteers were all getting “zombified!!” It was so fun watching my pal Shauna make everyone over into awesome looking zombies! I was very glad to be the photographer for a few different reasons! one of them was because I loved the idea and another was because I’m not one for playing a role or having much makeup on my face! It was a blast! Afterward 3 of the zombies, one which happened to be my boyfriend, and I went to my favorite mexican restaurant, Azteca, for dinner!!
