I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful evening to spend with Tim and Sarah for their second anniversary session! The lighting was stunning, the temperature was a perfect cool for the start to September and of course there was Tim and Sarah, one of my most favorite couples, ever. Having worked with Tim and Sarah at my last job before going full time, we spent a lot of time together, having lunch, causing trouble and obviously, working. They’ve come so far in the 3ish years I’ve known them, hitting milestones all along the way like the birth of their first son, Owen who is about to turn one! I’m always so happy to get my camera on these two and now Owen! Grandma and Grandpa came at the beginning so we could get a few family photos before they took him out for dinner and gave the lovebirds some alone time! What a fun evening exploring downtown Cazenovia with these two!

Mindy and Kyle were so much fun! We started the day photographing Mindy getting ready, as well as her dress, her jewelry and other little details. In the back of my mind the entire day was the weather. There was like a 90% chance of rain. It had been raining all morning but cleared up by the time we arrived to the hotel. The ceremony was filled with love and laughter.
It couldn’t have been more unique and perfect with their friend officiating and another friend “giving” Kyle to Mindy.
Shortly after the ceremony, I noticed the sky was getting dark fast! We went outside for some formals as close to the building as we could be while still allowing for a nice backdrop. The wind picked up just as we were through the bridal party and most family shots. I quickly hurried up and got some couples shots, and we started getting sprinkled on! That’s when they knew we were finished with the formal photos! We ran inside and seconds after it began to downpour! I’m proud to say we sailed through the list of formal photos and kept everyone dry!
Introductions, speeches and dinner led into an epic dance party and entertaining cake cutting! They cut a cake, left the cake there, grabbed their cupcakes and smashed each other in the face with them. It was pretty romantic and hilarious. I love when couples get each other messy and help clean up one another.
A few of my favorite moments: All of the time we spent with Mindy getting ready. The hilarious bridal party photos they wanted in the bar. Their amazing bobble heads, which I laid their rings on for an epic ring shot! A lovely slideshow, which surprised the couple, and all of the dancing! Mindy and Kyle’s friends and family were wild and energetic!
Emma and Russ decided to meet me out to Fallbrook after a night of crazy rain! Friends on facebook were hiking in the same area earlier in the day and had posted muddy shoes photos but we decided to brave it! I had my rain boots in the car and was ready to go! Emma had cute little flats on and I said I’d rough it in my flip flops so if she gets muddy I would too! Luckily we hit zero mud on our photographic journey!
