Morgan rocks, she makes my hair look awesome! I’ve got a couple gals that make my hair awesome but Morgan has a little boy who I photograph so we like to trade services which is ultimately what I’d work for if only communes were more prevalent! Call me crazy, but if someone is going to pay me money for something and I’m going to pay them money back for something I want; then shouldn’t we just trade anyway? Don’t worry, the IRS knows about it. But still, it’s seriously the way I’d do a lot of things if more people were game for it! I’d love to find a massage therapist to barter with! Weddings take a toll on me in the summertime!! Anyway, enough of my hippy ramble, haha. I asked Morgan if I could take her photo after she was done with my hair and she happily obliged. So here’s my 52 Portraits project for this week!
Of course, she took a photo of me after she was done giving me black lo-lites and curling my hair! I LOVE IT!
The photo I took of Morgan is on the left and then she took a photo of me with my cellphone and I’m on the right!

52Portraits: Chris
Friday, March 15th, 2013Erika introduced me to Chris! Yes, I’ve been hanging around eating cupcakes and taking portraits of Erikas friends! She’s just so proud of her friends and they are great subjects! Chris’ portrait just so happened to be on his birthday! It couldn’t have gotten better after the celebratory tequila shots were poured and taken! I found this little nook where his portrait was taken right at his apartment, located near Little Italy, in Syracuse! You can find Christopher Robin writing poetry and lyrics as well as performing in the band Howl27. Scroll down to see a portrait of me and Erika’s cell shot of me taking his photo!
52Portraits: Rosa
Thursday, February 28th, 2013I met Rosa through week 6′s portrait, Erika! Erika and Rosa work at Johnny Rockets at Destiny USA. If you don’t know, Destiny was known as Carousel Mall back in the day and after many recent additions to the mall, and the fact it brings in a ton of Canadians to shop, they’ve changed names because it’s become a destination. Haha. I’ll stop being cheesy. Anyway, Rosa is from Portugal, she loves to cook for her friends and family! She has 3 children and has been married for 28 years!
Erika thought she’d make for a great portrait plus give Rosa a nice boost of self esteem! It totally worked she loved having her photo taken! This is what makes me happy about doing this project, getting responses and emotion from my subjects!!
Rosa and erika took photos of me for this week! Erika got me in action and Rosa took the standard cell phone portrait!
